Virtual Garden

We’re showcasing the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens Native Plants Walk as a fully immersive “Virtual Garden” Experience:

Click the image above to enter the Native Plants Walk. You can look in all directions, and travel between points along the walking path.

We’ve also set up a selection of teleportals to a selection of locations around Tasmania. These are full spherical image which you can explore. Enter the teleportal, and you can use your mouse or touchscreen to look in all directions. The curved images you see below are previews stretched into a rectangular shape.

(Select a location, and then click on the photograph to enter the teleportal. You’ll have to hit the “back” button on your browser to return to the Plant Hunter site.)

Would you like to go hunting for plants in some of Tasmania’s most bountiful botanical treasure sites?

You can also visit the Hunter Trails page to experience exciting places for yourself!

(If you have trouble viewing the Teleportals, please contact us and help us to troubleshoot.)

Happy hunting!
